"Pelican's Shadow"
Often in my photography practice, my camera becomes a vehicle as a means for me to explore environments of interest. Seeking beauty in the mundane and overlooked landscapes of my homestate, I dedicated a few days to aimlessly driving down old forgotten Florida highways.
This 44-page zine is a journey through sun-bleached landscapes, quiet roadsides, and subtle stories embedded in the ordinary. When I revisit these photographs, they cause me to a pause, observe, and re-examine a hidden side of Florida, where simplicity and stillness reveal something deeper, asking us to appreciate the unnoticed details of everyday life.
This zine was first shown at the Dale Zine fair in September of 24' and contains a selected few of the images that make up the complete body of work. Each copy will be signed & numbered. Limited to 25 copies.
