I am doing it again. Circling back to the same landscapes that caught my eyes once before. Somedays I pass locations just to make sure they are still there.

Usually I prolong capturing an image of these places as well. Waiting for the perfect day, where the clouds are gloomy and my idea of perfect light is casted. Once all those variables align, is when I hop out of my car, snap my photos and rush home to make prints.

This home in Deerfield has been rotting for years and it seems that sooner than later, it will be leveled and its beauty will be forgotten. It is unclear to me who Wanda is... but her home, her car and her name spray painted on that torn tarp caught my eye.
